I am using 17 flags from the Middle East to explore the perpetual destruction and re-building that happens in countries all over the world. Left, the Gif evenly displays 17 flags, one painted on top of the other. In the middle, the Gif imitates the few steps it takes to destroy the surface of the canvas. On the right the erased canvas.
