I work with art because it gives me a diverse and sometimes abstracted language that allows me to express myself and join contemporary discussions. I believe art has an important communicative role in a world that seems ever more bent on counting and measuring, and on making our lives fit to one algorithm of apparent perfection.
I am interested in time-based media and the concept of temporality, particularly where temporality intersects with concepts of how we manage quality in our lives. In my artistic practice I work with painting, prints and moving images, the outcome is often mixed media. In my visual language, I explore different processes, techniques, devices, and materials that collapse space-time and impact materiality.
