Lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I use contemporary art to explore current issues and I work with painting, prints and moving images, the outcome is often mixed media. I like to explore different processes, techniques, devices, and materials that collapse space-time and impact materiality.
I began my artistic practice late in life and working with contemporary jewelry. I started at a small and very good private school in Florence, did a master’s degree at a German university where tradition was to have all new students work with the resident sculpture teacher to expand your horizon. I never returned to jewelry and after graduation I pursued fine art in different ways that lead to my acceptance at Central Saint Martins for the two year master program in fine art.
At CSM, I thought I would be painting my way through the course but I got seduced by all the ways to express an idea and happily used all the facilities the university could offer: print workshop, digital workshop, wood workshop, etc. etc. I immersed myself and for a while I probably got lost among all the knowledge and talent.
