Lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I use contemporary art as a method to explore reality and to reflect on current topics. In my artistic practice, I work with painting, prints and moving images and the outcome is often mixed media. In my visual language, I like to explore different processes, techniques, devices, and materials that collapse space-time and impact materiality.

I began my artistic practice quite late in life and working with contemporary jewelry.  I went to a small and very good private school in Florence, moved on to do a master’s degree at a German university where tradition was to have all new students work with the resident sculpture teacher. The idea was to take you away from the miniature world of jewelry and give you hands-on experience with large scale work.

Only, I never really got back to jewelry and after graduation I pursued fine art in different ways that lead to my acceptance at Central Saint Martins for the two year master program in fine art. I entered CSM thinking that I would be painting my way through the course but I got seduced by the abundance of ways to express an idea and happily used all the facilities the university could offer: print workshop, digital workshop, wood workshop, etc. etc. I immersed myself and for a while there I probably got lost among the abundance of expert knowledge and talent.
